Broadstone signs Annette Brooke!

At a General Meeting of Club Members last week, local MP Annette Brooke was voted in as the new President of Broadstone Football Club.

Annette, whose political mandate includes promoting amenities for youth, has always had an interest in the welfare and progress of her local youth football club. She has attended several of their annual End of Season events at Broadstone Recreation Ground.

Club Chairman Geoff Hare stated:

"We were looking to further raise the profile of our Club following the attainment of the FA Charter Standard Development Club award, and we saw Annette as the ideal person to help us in our endeavours to progress further. We are delighted that she was happy to accept this appointment."
