ANNETTE BROOKE MP TOPS DORSET MPS' VOTING RECORDS4.51.31pm GMT Fri 24th Nov 2006 Statistics have been released that reveal that Annette Brooke is one of the hardest working members of parliament. Official House of Commons records show that she has voted in 83% of votes in the House of Commons - the best voting record of any MP in the Dorset area. However, Liberal Democrat MP Annette Brooke thinks it is crucial to represent the views of her constituents in parliament as often as is humanly possible. She understands that there are many competing claims on an MP's time, but she is steadfast in her determination to put the needs of Mid Dorset and North Poole at the top of her agenda. Annette Brooke said, "My most important to job is to represent and support my constituents, both in the local area and in Westminster. I believe that is absolutely vital to vote in order to make sure that our constituency's point of view is represented. My personal viewpoint is that we have to keep our parliamentary democracy strong because many people in many countries would give their lives to be able to vote on any issue".
